Wine (ish) - Sept. 9

CA$80.00

Wine (ish) is a brand-new concept brought to you by one of our all-time favourite wine colleagues, Kurtis Kolt. We’ll teach this class in conjunction with him, whom you can real all about right here.

While we all enjoy a little (or a lot) of wine on occasion, sometimes between those occasions we don't want to have to default to water, sugary sodas, or dumbed-down mocktails. Fortunately, with the explosion of the non-alc category over the last few years, a fresh wave of de-alcoholized wines have crashed on our shores that are the closest thing yet to the real thing. Far from the dusty bottles of sweet, confected grape juice from the bottom shelf in grocery stores from the past.

We'll explore (and taste) some of our favourite traditional wines from iconic global regions, alongside some of the best adjacent-ish, non-alc styles to discover what makes them tick; compare and contrast. Not as competition (technically different drink categories after all!) but to compare and contrast, and to illustrate food-pairing and event-hosting potentials!

This is a two-hour class from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 in Chinatown, Vancouver, BC
