We love to collaborate with our favourite people around Vancouver (and sometines friends from overseas!) to host vibe-y Apéro style events, splashy wine dinners, and sometimes even field trips to share the most exciting parts of our wine world with you.

APÉRO at Bentall

    Once upon a time, Maude (TIWS founder, educator and Chief Vibe Officer) hosted events called ‘Apéro’ across Vancouver restaurants, breweries, and sometimes even at the beach. These pop-up wine parties were casual, fun, and packed full of  friends and wine nerds alike.  They were meant to embody a very Quebecois spirit of having a little drink (or two, and a snack) after work but before dinner. These pop-ups were a pretty huge part of her life and business before wine school, and then everything got a bit derailed while we opened up a school, started teaching classes and needed to focus on other things.

    After a short apéro hiatus, we are very pleased to announce that we will do a new version of these events this summer in Vancouver! We’ll take on an apéro residency the Bentall Centre Breezeway mid-week on July 15th-16th-17th, with a few additional weeks to come throughout the summer. If you haven’t seen it before, it’s a pretty cute outdoor  patio tucked off the street with a perfect little bar to pour wine and serve snacks (made by our best pal and chef extraordinare Lina Caschetto of Say Hey Café & Deli) through the late afternoon.

    Though we know everyone is excited about eating seasonally, there is no time better than July for the colourful array of fruits and vegetables, cooked and paired lovingly with wine! Come for a multi-course dinner cooked by Chef Lina Caschetto and paired with super fresh wines from us!

    Expect immersive multi-course menus made up of cute plates and crushable wine pairings inspired by themes derived from some of our favourite experiences and seasons. If you happen to be in town this summer, join us as we pop bottles and cook up some very delightful dishes to pair together in a manner that suggests we might be planning for some larger kind of collaboration….
