Intimate Winery Tours +
Curated Sommelier Tastings

We’ve spent years exploring and falling in love with these wine regions, and we’re excited to share our favorite spots with you. Wine tour with a small group (up to 12 guests) of like-minded folks on a private tour through some of our favourite wine regions around the world!

Discover a range of producers—from undiscovered gems to classic estates that tell the story of the region’s history. Guided by This is Wine School co-founder and sommelier, Maude RB, for an experience that’s personal, insightful, and full of flavor.

With a sommelier on board, no wine terms slip past you, whatever your level—so you can make the most of each tasting and visit.

Private Transportation,
Carefully Selected Stays

From the moment we meet at our first hotel, to the time we part ways a week later, everything’s taken care of—planned, booked, and organized by us. We’ve already done the route planning, mapping and researching so you don’t have to.

Travel in comfort with a private driver and our own minivan, and take in the historic vineyard views through some of the planet’s more dramatic wine regions.

Unwind each night in modern accommodations (3*, 4*, or equivalent hotel and villa stays) and enjoy an on-site breakfast each morning before we head out to explore wineries and other unique cultural stops.

Authentic Experiences +
Insider-Knowledge Planning

Just like in the classroom, our approach to travel is casual, but we care deeply about the outcome. We’ll include leisurely lunches at wineries or countryside restaurants, and some carefully chosen dinners at our favourite spots. Each stop is personally researched, vetted, and experienced ourselves to show you the best spots that are neither too stuffy nor too touristy.

From scenic vineyard stops and historic landmarks to photo-worthy viewpoints, we make sure there’s time to truly take it all in. We keep the pace easy—just 1 to 2 tastings a day—because we’ve learned that the best wine trips aren’t about cramming it all in.

“ We couldn't have been happier with our organized tour through Barolo! Tasting rooms have to be scheduled here, and the region is so specialized that choosing where to go by ourselves would have been a big challenge.

Rather than having quick visits and seeing wine shops only, we were thrilled to have longer, in-depth visits with hugely different wineries: some smaller up-and-coming, creative, mad-scientist producers and time-honored, historically relevant estates.

We met inspiring people at every winery and were so excited to apply and expand our WSET knowledge on terroir, climate and varietals. Our lunches were just spectacular. The itinerary made the rolling hills and postcard panoramas even more magical - thank you! ”
