“Having just completed my WSET Level 2 training at This is Wine School (TiWS) I can honestly say the course greatly exceeded my expectations. Jenna - our primary instructor, was awesome. She was well-prepared, friendly and made sure everyone's questions were answered thoughtfully. Both her and Kelcie - who conducted two of the sessions, brought a wealth of firsthand experience and loads of interesting and funny anecdotes.
The lay out of the sessions and accompanying wines selected to compliment and mirror our readings were excellent. We tried loads of interesting wines from different regions and at different price points to highlight the nuances of each varietal and regional differences. Jenna made sure we knew where to track down the bottles we tried each week and it was fun sharing "homework" we had drunk between each session.
I can't say enough amazing things about my experience and look forward to taking other one-off courses TiWS offer. If you want to take your wine knowledge, appreciation and passion farther in a completely non-pretentious and welcoming environment you should definitely sign yourself up :)”
